Maxine G. McKinney, age 75

Maxine G. McKinney, age 75, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022.

Maxine was born June 20, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Julius Faye Greene and Margaret Shelton Arrowood. She worked for Burger King and Family Restaurant. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepdad, Elvis Arrowood; stepmother, Ella Mae Greene; daughters Myra Kelly and Melissa Greene; stepson, Joseph Scott McKinney and brother, J.B. Greene.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years Paul McKinney, daughters Tina Kelly of Forest City and Charlene Anderson (Ron) of Caroleen, sisters Dorlis Roberts of Forest City, Doris Ebert of Bostic and Wanda Jenkins of Forest City, stepbrother Harland McGinnis of Rutherfordton, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A family led memorial service will be conducted at 7pm November 4 at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
