Melinda Wood Gossett, age 51

Melinda Wood Gossett, age 51, of Mooresboro, passed away, Tuesday, August 18, 2020.

Melinda was born January 1, 1969 in Rutherford County to the late Jerry Wood and Sue Shires.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Terry and Frank Wood and a sister, Susan Terry Kennedy.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charlie Gossett; daughter, Malena Jones (Scottie) of Gaffney; five grandchildren,; a special mother-in-law, Agnes Gossett of Mooresboro and a host of extended family members and friends.

A memorial service was conducted at the funeral home.
