Melissa Watson Martin, 68, of Patrick Springs, VA passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. She was born on January 17, 1953 in Rutherford County, NC.

Surviving are her husband, Alfred Martin of the home; one daughter, Dori E. Martin (Jonathan Lawson) of Fredericksburg, VA; her mother, Myrlie Gordon Barrier of Rutherfordton; one sister, Myra Upton of Rutherfordton; two brothers, Malcom Watson (Joan) of Rutherfordton, and Maurice Watson (Cheryl) of North Myrtle Beach, SC and her beloved dog. She was preceded in death by her father, Mack Watson.

A private memorial service was held at Norris Funeral Services in Stuart, VA.
