Michael Daugherty, Sr., age 75

Michael Daugherty, Sr., age 75, of Mooresboro, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2022.

Michael was born June 1, 1947 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late Raymond Daugherty and Ila Davy Daugherty. He worked for R & R Plastics and Ed's Pallet World for 14 years. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Anita Tinker and two grandchildren, Curtis Honeycutt and Brittany Hollifield.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Mary Daugherty, daughter Lisa Honeycutt (Jason) of Rutherfordton, son Michael Daugherty, Jr. (Stephanie) of Ellenboro, sister Diane Rockwell (Don) of Raleigh, stepbrother Joe Graham of Michigan. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Michael's life will be conducted at a later date.
