Left to cherish his memory are his wife Susan Guffey, daughter Valerie Brown, Katie Sparrow, Hope Hill, Faith Champion, Tara Rice; son, Matt Guffey of the home; brother Mitchell Guffey; stepmother Zola Guffey; stepfather Clyde Koone; and mother Frances Koone. Predeceased are his daughter Brandy Guffey; and father Elijah Guffey.
Services were held at Long Branch Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Bridges officiating, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
