Michael "Mike" Grant, age 70

Michael "Mike" Grant, age 70, of Caroleen, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

Mike was born July 15, 1950 in Rutherford County to the late Marion Theodore Grant and Virginia Tate Grant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Marshall, Donald, Warner, Roger, Steve, Joe and Randy Grant.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife for thirty-six years and best friend for almost forty years, Edith Grant; sister, Cathey Earls (Tommy) of Shelby; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Wallace (Chuck) of Caroleen and Peggy Elliott of Ellenboro; two brothers-in-law, Clyde Elliott of Caroleen and Paul Elliott (Sandra) of Forest City. He is also survived by his beloved "furry friend", Max.

The funeral service was conducted at at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
