Michael Shane Hartford, age 53

Michael Shane Hartford, age 53, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Michael was born October 11, 1969 in Denver, Colorado to Beverly Hartford who resides in Bostic and the late Leonard F. Hartford. Michael was a graduate of Chase High School. He worked for Aeroquip/Eaton/Dan Foss Industries for many years and most recently at Carolina Concrete Floor Finishing. He attended the NewSpring Church in Spartanburg.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by wife Susan Hartford.

Besides his mother, those left to cherish fond memories are his wife, Tina Kelly, daughter Meg Norvell (Coty) of Rutherfordton, sons Joshua Hartford of Forest City and Logan Kelly of the home, sister, Landyn Pitts (Christian) of Columbia, SC, five grandchildren.

A memorial service was held October 29 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ted Blankenship and Rev. Lanny J. Funchess officiating.
