Mickey Digh, age 69, of Forest City

Mickey Digh, age 69, of Forest City, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026.

Mickey was born August 20, 1957 in Morganton, NC to the late Melvin Lonnie Digh, Sr. and Frances Ramsey Digh Hardin. He was a graduate of Freedom High School. Mickey worked in the auto sales industry for many years. He was in financing and his last position was as a car salesman for Friendship Chevrolet. Mickey was a member of the Missionary Wesleyan Church in Forest City.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Boyce Hardin.

Those left to honor his legacy include his wife of 48 years, Tammy Digh; daughter, Natalie Digh (Charles Allen) of Spindale; sons, Melvin Digh (Amber) of Rutherfordton and Cody Digh of Forest City; a sister, Patti Digh (John Ptak) of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Zoe, Savannah, Finn, Delilah, Bryndle, Avery and Ames Digh.

A private celebration of life for family and friends will be conducted.
