More than 230 people receive Thanksgiving food

More than 230 people received turkeys, chickens and other food for Thanksgiving at the Washburn Community Outreach Center last Saturday. Some of the volunteers are shown above. Others helped with traffic directing, packing boxes and cleaning. The food pantry is closed this week for Thanksgiving re-opens on Thursday, Dec. 1 for food boxes 9am until 1pm. The pantry will also be open on Friday, Dec. 2 from 9am until 1pm. The thrift store will also be open during the same hours.
