Mr. Merman Lee "ML" Walker, age 83

Mr. Merman Lee "ML" Walker, age 83 of Spindale, passed away Friday November 16, 2018. ML was a native of Rutherford County, and a member of Second Baptist Church of Rutherfordton. He also served in the National Guard.

ML was preceded in death by his father and mother Cliff and Alma Walker; brother Tim Walker, and sisters Betty Godfrey and Judy Morgan;

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Joan Guffey Walker; son Eddie Lee Walker and wife Elizabeth of Rutherfordton; daughters Cindy Buff and Husband Jim of Harris; Cathy Liverette and husband Roger of Cliffside; brother Fletcher Walker and wife Loretta of Shiloh; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at Crowe's Mortuary. Burial was private.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
