Mrs. Broma Jean Hamrick Harrigan age 83

Mrs. Broma Jean Hamrick Harrigan age 83 went home to be with her Lord on Friday February 06, 2015.

She is a daughter of the late Norris Cade Hamrick and Georgia Dayberry Hamrick, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Harrigan and one brother Charles Wyman Hamrick.

Mrs. Harrigan and her husband were graduates of Bob Jones University and they spent some forty years as missionaries in Japan.  She was a member of Spencer Baptist Church where she taught the Hannah Sunday School Class and was also a teacher at Trinity Christian School.

Left to cherish her memory are her twenty children, sixteen of whom she adopted – Mark, Elizabeth, David, Hannah, John, Matthew, Sharon, Samuel, Paul, Timothy, Sarah, Daniel, Ruth Ann, Stephen, Mary Catherine, Grace, James, Lydia, Joseph and Thomas. She is also survived by one sister Gail H. Britt of Tennessee and one brother Gary Hamrick of South Carolina. Forty-six grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service to celebrate her life was held at Spencer Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Caldwell and Rev. Charles Britt officiating.
