Mrs. Yvonne Mace Melton, 60

Mrs. Yvonne Mace Melton, 60, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Zeb and Lorene Earwood Mace. Yvonne was the former owner of the 74 Diner in Ellenboro, and worked at the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department for 7 years. She was a member of Pleasant View Community Church.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Melton, Sr.; a son, Wayne Melton, Jr., of the home; and her daughter, Misty Melton of the home; two sisters, Helen Ingle of Sandy Mush, and Chris Epley of Chase Community; one granddaughter; her best friend, Russell Harrill; her sister-in-law Diane Penson and husband Norris; her brother-in-law Michael Melton and wife Libby; there are a number of nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service was conducted at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Danny McCain officiating.
