Nancy Harris Jones, 77

Nancy Harris Jones, 77 of Rutherfordton died Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Nancy was born November 30, 1944, in Forest City, NC and was a daughter of the late Walter and Lydia Radford Harris. Nancy worked as an administrator for the community outreach program Neighbors Food Pantry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne Kenneth Jones of Forest City, daughter Mary Alicia (Lisa) Mayo and six siblings.

Survivors include her husband Jerry Jones of Gilkey, daughters Stephanie M. Langley of Ellenboro, and Cathy Schroeder and husband David of Dale City, VA, brother, Scott (Bull) Harris and wife Debbie of Rutherfordton, sister Diane Watkins of Rutherfordton, four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A family directed memorial service was held September 29 at Little White Country Church of Gilkey officiated by Rev. Buddy Campbell.
