Nancy J. Hensley, age 78

Nancy J. Hensley, age 78, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019.

Nancy was born June 15, 1941 in Columbus County to the late Wilson and Dorothy Boege Norris. Nancy was a graduate of Alexander Union Mills High School. She worked at Stonecutter and Spindale Mills and later at Rest Well Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and coloring and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Jimmy Hensley, and a great grandson.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Donna Monteith (Robert Wolfe) of Rutherfordton and Sonya Monteith (Julius Greene) of Forest City; four sons, Dwayne Monteith, Randy Monteith (Renee) all of Rutherfordton, Michael Monteith (Amy) of Spindale and Richard Monteith (Melissa) of South Dakota. She is also survived by five brothers, two sisters, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A graveside service was conducted in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
