Nancy Jean Wood Hunt, age 77 of Ellenboro died Friday, June 16, 2023.
Nancy was born January 23, 1946, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Vernon and Mamie Frazier Wood.
Nancy was a member of Race Path Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Bob Hunt, her son, Shane Hunt and wife Allison of Matthews, her daughter, Kim Hunt Davis and husband York of Midlothian, VA, her brothers, James "Bo" Wood of Forest City, Larry Wood of Ellenboro, and Johnny Sisk of Forest City, her sister, Mabel Wood Knight of Ellenboro, five grandchildren.
The funeral was held June 20 at Race Path Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Cooper and Mr. Craig Ledford officiating.
The family request memorials in her memory be made to Race Path Baptist Church, 1171 Race Path Church Rd., Ellenboro, NC 28040.
