Nancy Ledford Green

Nancy Ledford Green of Ellenboro passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023.

Nancy was born February 24, 1941 in Yancey County to the late John Ledford and Mae Cooper Ledford. She was a graduate of Cane River High School. Nancy worked in textiles for many years and also for Aero Quip. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jerry Green; brother, Bruce Ledford and sisters, Jeanelle Spratt and Vera Hamrick.

Those left to treasure her memory are her sons, Randy Green (Carol) of Ellenboro and Roger Green (Kimberly) of Cherryville; two grandchildren, several nieces.

A memorial service was held December 21 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Rohm officiating.
