Nancy Scruggs Forand, age 70

Nancy Scruggs Forand, age 70, of Ellenboro, passed away January 23, 2022.

Nancy was born August 8, 1951 to the late James Robert Scruggs and Ollie Cantrell Scruggs. She was a graduate of Chase High School. She worked for General Fireproofing for many years and later in the banking industry. Nancy was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ed Scruggs and Harry Scruggs.

Left to cherish fond memories are her husband, David Forand; son, Chad Green (Jennifer) of Forest City; two grandchildren, one great grandchild, her siblings, Lib Grayson, Nellie Jo Hamrick, Sara Lee Epperson, Ruby Dedmon, Jane Curtis, Danita Sartin and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held January 27, 2022 with Rev. Ernie Cole officiating.
