Nell Blanton, age 77

Nell Blanton, age 77, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Grady and Willie Belle Walker and she was a native of Polk County.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sisters; Shirley Houser, Jane Skipper, and Joyce McCraw, brothers; Alvin Walker, Horace Walker, and Garland Walker.

Nell is survived by Two Daughters: Joyce Blanton of Rutherfordton, Dawn Hardin and her husband Robert of Shiloh. One Son: Dwayne Blanton and his wife Lisa of Shiloh. One Brother: Kenneth Walker of Green Creek. Six Grandchildren and Thirteen Great-Grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Gray's Creek Baptist Church.
