Nellie Sue Hardin Rhodes, 83

Nellie Sue Hardin Rhodes, 83, of Rutherfordton, passed away December 8, 2021.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late John Lloyd and Mary Lee Guffey Hardin. Nellie was a retired minister and was a member of Full Gospel Revival Center. She served as pastor of the Christian Assembly in Springfield, IL as well as churches in Birmingham, AL, Startex, SC and Augusta, GA.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Ramona Hall of Rutherfordton and Luwanna Rhodes of Helena, AL, and a granddaughter LaBreeska Hall Davis of Forest City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Rhodes, brothers Hicks Hardin and John Lee (JL) Hardin, and sisters, Lorena McCraw and Maggie Goforth.

Funeral services were held December 10, 2021 at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Tommy Hutchins officiating.
