Nita Francis, age 72

Nita Francis, age 72, of Forest City, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023.

Nita was born May 11, 1951 in Cleveland County to the late Dennis "Pot" Jenkins and Lillie Belle Greene Jenkins. She was a graduate of Chase High School. Nita worked at Burlington Industries for several years, but her passion was being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She attended Chase Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Jenkins.

Those left to cherish fond memories include her husband of 48 years, Daniel Francis; daughter, Adena Lewis (Robbie) of Ellenboro; son, Danny Francis (Kaylon) of Harris, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held May 27 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Butler officiating.
