Norris Edgar "Spud" Murray, 68, of Bostic, died September 2, 2021.
He was the son of the late Rev. Charlie and Ellen Smith Murray.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Murray, and brother-in-law, Arnold Hubbard. Spud worked at PPG for 27 years.
He is survived by his son, Wesley Murray and wife Melissa, of Sunshine; fiance Mary Black of Sunshine; sisters, Malena Tate and husband Carl, and Elaine Hubbard, all of Sunshine, Freida Goforth and husband Johnny of Rutherfordton; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Murray of Bostic.
Visitation was held September 7, 2021 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
