Norris Stacey, age 71

Norris Stacey, age 71, of Rutherfordton, went to his heavenly home July 16, 2021.

Norris was born July 29, 1949 in Rutherford County to the late Albert Hugh Stacey and Bernie Wilson Stacey. He worked at the J.C. Cowan Plant for 25 years before his retirement and was a faithful member of Harris First Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Dane Stacey and his twin brother, Morris Stacey.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 48 years, Karen Ledford Stacey; two sons, James S. Stacey of Spartanburg and Jason R. Stacey of Charlotte; brother, Steve Stacey of Albany, Georgia; sisters, Julia Lovelace of Woodruff, SC and Cynthia Hefner (Mike) of Winston-Salem, 3 grandchildren & and several beloved nieces and nephews.

The funeral was conducted July 20, 2021 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend George Whitmire officiating.
