NOTIFICATION OF DISCHARGE OF UNTREATED
WASTEWATER
The Town of Norwood experienced a discharge of untreated wastewater on October 29, 2020 at the Bridge Lift Station, located near the Cliffside Sanitary District wastewater plant. Ongoing flow of untreated wastewater was discharged to the Second Broad River.
The Division of Water Resources was notified of the event on October 29, 2020 and is reviewing the matter. For more information contact Envirolink at (252) 235-4900.
