Pamela Kirby Cole, age 55, of Forest City, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012. 

Pamela was born April 17, 1957 in Gaffney, SC to the late James Earl Kirby and Peggy Motts Kirby. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, class of 1974 and earned an Associate Degree from Isothermal Community College. She worked for Foothills Manufacturing-Leggett & Platt Inc. for many years and worked in childcare for several years. Pamela was a member of the Sulphur Springs Congregational Holiness Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible and praying and loved spending time with her family and grandsons. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. 

Survivors include her son, Brandon Cole and wife, Michelle; one daughter, Jennifer Cole all of Forest City; one brother, James Darrall Kirby of Blacksburg, SC; one sister, Sheila Hinkle of Greer, SC; three grandsons, Julian Hill, Talan Cole and Tate Cole. She is also survived by her first husband, Larry Cole of Forest City; life-long friend, Patricia Sutton Smith and special friends, Chadwick Filer, Sherrie Beam and April Haynes. 

Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend David Cole officiating. 

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
