Patricia Ann "Patsy" Poteat, age 80

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Poteat, age 80 of Forest City passed away Monday, April 8, 2019.

She was born February 16, 1939 in Union County, SC and was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Newton Crawley. Patsy was a homemaker and a member of Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed the activities at the Rutherford County Senior Center.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Poteat, her sons, Kevin Poteat and wife Sandra of Mill Spring, Dwayne Poteat and wife Kim of Rutherfordton, a daughter, Pam Mitchem and husband Greg of Charlotte, brother, Ray Crawley and wife Marion of Southern Shores NC, her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
