Patricia Gail Nix, age 80

Patricia Gail Nix, age 80, of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Patricia was born October 31, 1942 in Cleveland County to the late James Martin Williams and Ruby Lovelace Williams. She was a graduate of Crest High School. Patricia worked for J.C. Dying and Fiber Industries before her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Myles Nix.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Rocky James Walker (Tineta) of Forest City and David Nix of Mooresboro; brother, Ted Williams (Pat) of Forest City and sister, Geraldine McSwain (Donald) of Shelby; one grandson; brother-in-law, Troy Nix (Becky) of Forest City; two stepbrothers, Larry Wiggins (Beverly) and David Wiggins (Henrietta) and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held January 17 at High Shoal Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Adkins officiating.
