Patricia Jane Hollifield Allen, age 88

Patricia Jane Hollifield Allen, age 88, of Forest City, passed away, Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Patricia was born March 6, 1935 in Rutherford County to the late Jobie and Julie Hollifield. She was a graduate of Tri-High School. Patricia worked at Rutherford Hospital and Burlington Industries in Henrietta for several years. She was a member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, J.P. Allen; brother, Everett Daniel Hollifield and a sister, Sigrid Ann Wampler.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Alicia Jane Allen; son, Joey Allen (Shelli); three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held September 2 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Joey Allen and Rev. Robert Carnell officiating.
