Paul Dwight Robinson, Sr., age 80 of Ellenboro

Paul Dwight Robinson, Sr., age 80 of Ellenboro died Friday, January 9, 2026.P.D., as he was known to his family and friends, was born October 17, 1945 in Bostic, NC and was a son of the late Frank H. Robinson and Eddie Fish Robinson.

P.D. was a graduate of East Rutherford High School and a member of Victory Baptist Church. He worked for many years at Genpak Corporation where he retired as Supply Chain Manager. P.D. served honorably in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Robinson, and Roger Robinson, and sisters, Susie Smart, Judy Jones, Betty Lattimore and Bernice Goode.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sharon Taylor Robinson, his son, Paul Dwight Robinson, Jr. of Ellenboro, his daughters, Cathy Green of Forest City, Rita Lewis of Charlotte, and Deborah Potter and husband Jackie of Mooresboro, his sister, Reba Lattimore of Rutherfordton, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a niece, Connie Terry.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
