Pauline C. Padgett, age 76

Pauline C. Padgett, age 76, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

Pauline was born Monday, November 13, 1944 in Rutherford County to the late Perry Baxter Canipe and Melva Henson Canipe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, James Gardner Padgett; a granddaughter; siblings, Hazel Dills, Steve Canipe, Louise Canipe and Rachel Canipe.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Eddie Padgett (Joyce) of Shelby and Lee Padgett of Rutherfordton; sisters, Betty Robertson of Santee, SC, Marie Atkins of Shiloh, Faye Lowery (Jim) of Harris and Kathy Hoyle also of Harris; two brothers, Virgil Canipe of Shelby and David Canipe (Teresa) of Chesnee. She is also survived by a grandson and two great-granddaughters.

The funeral service was conducted at Floyd's Creek Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
