With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Lou Ortiz, 61, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away July 3, 2025.
Peggy's life was a beautiful reflection of love, generosity, and unwavering commitment to her family.
She found deep joy in caring for others--often through baking, where her kitchen became a place of warmth and comfort for family, friends, and anyone in need.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Ramon Ortiz; her children: Rozanna Gipson (Jeremy), Amelia Ortiz, Carmela Ortiz (Beto Cuellar), and Nicolas Ortiz (Jhoseph Baron); eight grandchildren, her sister, Sherry Phelps, and brother, Bruce Harris.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Harris; mother, Charlotte Harris; and brother, James Harris.
Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
