On September 4 2021, Peggy McGinnis Wells of Spindale, NC passed away.
Peggy was an only child. She was born to Carl Maxie and Alma Blalock McGinnis on November 16, 1937 in Kings Mountain.
Peggy's greatest joy was spending time with family and her church family. Peggy leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Billy Franklin Wells, her son Andy Carl Wells and wife Beth, and Scott Edward Wells all from Spindale, 2 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Peggy attended Spencer Baptist Church for 49 years. Peggy was a dedicated teacher for Rutherford County Schools.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Spencer Baptist Church 187 N. Oak St., Spindale NC 28160.
A memorial service will be held 2PM September 9 at Spencer Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior in the family life center.
