Philip Marvin Nantz was born September 29, 1940. He peacefully passed away October 18, 2023.

Philip was the son of Raymond and Mary Hale Nantz, who predeceased him. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Rae Nantz. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his children: Philip S. Nantz "Sam" and hwife, Denise; Tamara and husband Joe; Pamela and husband Todd; and Kymberly.

In addition to his children, Philip leaves behind a cherished legacy in the form of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by brothers James, John and Alan.

A Navy veteran, Philip served his country with honor, working as an electronics technician, and in his later career as a civilian communication technician.

A family directed Memorial service was held October 22 at Spencer Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Caldwell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spencer Baptist Church Legacy Fund, 187 N. Oak St., Spindale, NC.
