Phillip Junior Searcy, age 64, of the Bill's Creek community in Lake Lure passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
Phillip was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Jesse Phillip Searcy and Annie Sue Conner Searcy, and a member of Bill's Creek Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter Samantha Ogle, her husband Matthew and three grandchildren. Raised with 8 brothers and sisters Phillip is survived by Worth Searcy, Carolyn Teno, Myra Moore, Martha Holder, Nancy Buckner and Bertie Wilson and was preceded in death by Howard Searcy and Hazel Godfrey.
A time of fellowship and gathering of friends was held June 25 at Bill's Creek Baptist Church.
