Phillips receives certificates for diabetes work

Anita Phillips has recently achieved her Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (CBDCE). Anita has achieved Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) status by successfully passing the Certification Examination for Diabetes Care and Education Specialists.

Candidates must meet rigorous eligibility requirements to be able to take the Examination. Achieving certification status demonstrates to people with diabetes and other health professionals they possess distinct and specialized knowledge, thereby promoting quality of care for people with diabetes. "We are so proud of Anita for this great accomplishment and are extremely fortunate to have her on our team of Healthcare Heroes here at Rutherford Regional Health System," said a spokesperson.
