Ralph Davis, age 86

Ralph Davis, age 86, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Ralph was born June 6, 1936 in Marmet, West Virginia to the late Fred Davis and Genevieve Wells Davis. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. Ralph worked as the maintenance supervisor for First Baptist Church in Shelby for 20 years and was a member of the church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Deloris Parsons Davis; son, James Edward Davis; brothers, William Arthur Davis, Paul Davis, Wallace Davis and sisters Helen Crowley and Janet Young.

Left to cherish fond memories are daughters, Georgia Lynn Cooper of Lawndale and Donna Gordon (Robert) of Forest City; sons, Ronnie Davis (Sheila) of Pratt, WV and Robert Eugene Davis of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by a brother, Lawrence Davis of WV; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Ralph's life will be held on a later date.
