Randy Darrell Burgess, age 65

Randy Darrell Burgess, age 65, of Forest City, died Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, A.C. and Sue Burgess and a sister-in-law, Lynn Burgess. Randy was a faithful Christian.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandy Gowan Burgess; mother-in-law, Vergie Jenkins, children, Brandon Burgess of Charlotte, Samantha Lee and husband, Donald of Forest City, Lacey McKinney and husband, Jason of Gaffney and Joshua Burgess of Rutherfordton; seven grandchildren, brother, Danny Burgess of Spindale; sister, Laverne Frietze and husband, Bill of Washington DC, five nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life memorial service was held at at Faith Baptist Church in Forest City with Rev. Brian Melton officiating.
