Randy Peter Tavernia, Jr., age 43

Randy Peter Tavernia, Jr., age 43, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021.

Randy was born Friday, September 9, 1977 in Spartanburg County, SC to Doris Potter Tavernia who resides in Forest City and the late Randy Tavernia, Sr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Bradley James Tavernia.

Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Shasta Tavernia of Mauldin, SC; two children, Shawn Tavernia of Providence, RI and Elisabeth Tavernia of the home; three sisters, Dawn Greene (Jeff) of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Jamie Tavernia of Gastonia and Jennifer Tavernia (Paul Briggs) of Forest City. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews and a host of aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life was conducted at Riverside Baptist Church.
