Randy William Nelon, 61

Randy William Nelon, 61, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026.

He was born to the late John Harle Nelon, Jr. and Catherine Odom Nelon in Polk County, NC. He is also predeceased by his sister, Marlene McDowell; brothers, Flint Nelon and Kevin Nelon.

Left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Christine Nelon of the home; sons, Randy "R.W." Nelon II, Patrick Nelon and Nicholas "Nick" Nelon; brothers, John Nelon III and wife Becky; sister-in-laws Kim Nelon and Kelly Nelon; 6 nieces; 7 nephews.

Randy had a love for music, he grew up playing with his family in church. He was an all round family man that never met a stranger. He worked as a plumber for over 30 years.

A Celebration of Life Service was held July 12 at the Sunnyview Community House with Rev. Gibbs speaking.
