Ray Isadore Bailey Sr., 86

Ray Isadore Bailey Sr., 86, of Rutherfordton passed away September 21, 2021.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late James Clarence and Effie May Spicer Bailey. He was a retired wood cutter and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Mill Spring.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Linda Lee Bailey Conner (Rickey); sons, Ray Isadore Bailey Jr. and James Christopher Bailey (Connie); 8 grandchildren; 3 greatgrandchildren; brother, Alvin Bailey; sisters, Marthell Moore and Sue McCoyle.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by brothers, Lonnie Bailey, Lloyd Bailey, Leland Bailey, Leonard Bailey, and sister Donnie May Burnett.

Graveside services were held September 24, 2021 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Lawter officiating.
