Rebecca Ann Piercy Pope, age 84

Rebecca Ann Piercy Pope, age 84, of Bostic, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2023.

Becky was born March 30, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late Lloyd and Edith Piercy. She was a graduate of Tri-High School. Becky worked for the Carolina Shoe Factory in Morganton for 38 years and for Walmart for 15 years. She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Emile Piercy Marquez and an infant son.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Benjamin Charles Pope; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Pope Turner and brother-in-law, Floyd Waters. Loving memories will also be shared by a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held September 6 at Cane Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Camp officiating.
