East Rutherford Passes Early Test, Central-East Match Ahead

The biggest test East Rutherford’s boys basketball team faced in this early season came last Tuesday hosting Hunter Huss.

Huss, a legitimate 3A state title contender showed well early, but East Rutherford was outstanding from the second quarter forward to record a huge 85-77 win.

Huss had three kids who could fill it up for 55 of the Husky points and jump out of the gym, yet it wasn’t enough.

And my niece replied, “It’s day two after my birthday, Mommy!”
