Registration is open for the 2026 Summer Drama Camp from now until May 31. Students (ages 5-18) are invited to join Rutherford Stage this summer at The Foundation Performing Arts Center for a two-week camp focused on developing musical theatre skills. Rutherford Stage will audition, rehearse, and perform "Aesop and His Fabulous Fables," a musical play by Diane McEnnerney. There are many roles available and the performance will be tailored to the number of participants.
The camp will be directed by Laura Link, the musical director is Christopher Knobil, and Layla Gaddy will be the choreographer. No experience is necessary to attend Summer Camp.
Sessions will take place on Monday through Thursday both weeks, July 6-9 and July 13-16 from 5:30-8pm. The performance will be Friday, July 17 at 7pm and will be open to the public. Participants must be able to attend all eight sessions and the performance. There will be a $25 participation fee, which includes a camp T-Shirt. A parent or guardian must attend with any student under the age of 10, and all parents are encouraged to volunteer to help.
