Rev. Ralph W. Boyd, Jr., age 80

Rev. Ralph W. Boyd, Jr., age 80, of Bostic, passed away March 14, 2022.

Ralph was born November 5, 1941 in Henderson County to the late Ralph Worth Boyd, Sr. and Lucille Baker Boyd. He worked as a carpenter in construction and in textiles for many years. Ralph was a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and pastored Faith Temple Tabernacle and New Grace Church in Morganton.

Left to cherish fond memories are his wife of 30 years, Robin K. Boyd and a daughter, Janet Davis of Georgia.

The funeral service was held March 17, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chad Sisk and Rev. Buddy Campbell officiating.
