Rev. Robert H. Bradley, age 77

Rev. Robert H. Bradley, age 77, of the Hicks Grove Community, passed away January 13, 2022.

Robert was born June 19, 1944 in Rutherford County to the late Robert Talmadge Bradley and Avis Hines Bradley. He was a graduate of Chase High School, and received an Associate's Degree from Fruitland Bible Institute in 2004. Robert pastored several churches including two local churches, Mt. Harmony Baptist Church and First Broad Baptist Church in Bostic. He was an insurance agent for 35 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clark K. Bradley.

Left to cherish fond memories are his wife of 57 years, Shirley McGuire Bradley; daughter, Crystal B. Tate (Travis); son, Rev. Robert "Kevin" Bradley (Teresa) all of the Hicks Grove Community; brothers, Rev. Bruce Bradley (Marilyn) of Mt. Holly and John R. Bradley (Brenda) of the Hicks Grove Community and a sister, Sharon Waters (Rev. Chester Waters) of Dallas, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted January 20 at First Broad Baptist Church with Rev. Chester Waters, Rev. Raymond Byrd, Rev. Charles Battle and Rev. Steve Chastain officiating.
