Reverend Danny J. McCain, age 68

Reverend Danny J. McCain, age 68, of Forest City, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021.

Danny was born Friday, March 7, 1952 in Waverly, Ohio to Savilla Thompson McCain who resides in Waverly, OH and the late Reverend James Edwin McCain.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Dennis Whitt and a nephew, Reverend Marcus Whitt.

Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of forty-two years, Joyce McCain; daughter, Danielle Morgan of Rutherfordton; son, Adam McCain (Katie) of Johnson City, TN; two grandchildren; two sisters, Cheryl Whitt of Waverly, OH and Burnette Brown (Rev. Tom Brown) of Otway, OH; two nephews; three nieces.

A local service was conducted at Pleasant View Community Church. A service will also be conducted at the Life Change Church in Piketon, Ohio. Interment followed in the Gardner Cemetery in Waverly, OH.
