Richard Lewis, age 53

Richard Lewis, age 53, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

Richard was born January 8, 1967 in Rutherford County to Ed Lewis who resides in Forest City and the late Janie Burgess Lewis.

In addition to his father, those left to cherish his memory include one son, Christopher Lewis; daughter, Jessica Henson (Will) all of Forest City. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Sheila Lewis of Forest City; two brothers, Scott Lewis (Amanda) of Shiloh and Rodney Lewis (Shirley) of Morganton; one grandson; his companion, Debra Haag and several nieces and nephews.

A private service was conducted at Harrelson Funeral Home with burial following at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
