Richard Louis Johnson, age 71

Richard Louis Johnson, age 71, passed away March 23, 2023.

A native of Greenwood, SC; Richard is a graduate of Isothermal Community College and Erskine College and is a former employee of Spindale Mills, Marion Fabric and White Oak of Tryon. He was a member of Sandy Plains Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Tryon.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Nona Price Johnson; three nieces, as well as a number of great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Randy and Perry Johnson.

A Memorial service will be held 1PM April 1 at Crowe's Mortuary, Rutherfordton. The family will receive friends following the service.
