Ricky Horne, 55 of Spindale, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014. 

He was formally the manager for the Rutherford County Farmers Market. Prior to his service to Rutherford County, Ricky worked for Bumbargers, Inc. as a copier service technician for 18 years. He was a member of Spindale Church of the Brethren.

Ricky was born on August 18, 1959 to Walter and Margie Horne. He loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. One of his greatest joys was being able to ride his Harley. Most importantly in his life were his wife, children and grandchild. He was an active member of the Marion Moose Lodge and the Marion Moose Riders and also rode with the West Point Faith Riders. Ricky considered the members of these organizations to be his brothers and sisters in life.

Ricky was preceded in death by his sister; Gloria Stewart, brother; Jack Horne, nephew; John Stewart, and sister-in-law Debbie Lovelace.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents are his wife Carol of 32 years, son Garret Horne Lovelace, daughters Anna Parris and husband Allen; Sarah Champion and husband A.J., and granddaughter Bree Champion; his sister Corless Goode and husband Mike; mother-in-Law; Eleanor Russell, sisters-in-laws; Gayle Hoskin and husband Rick, and Rita Russell; brother- in- law; James (Jimmy) Russell along with nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of Ricky’s wonderful spirit of life was held at Spindale Church of the Brethren. 

Crowe’s Mortuary is serving the family.
