River Sweep was another success

The recent Broad River cleanup sponsored by Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC) was a complete success and expressed their gratitude for the support of community members such as friends at Darby Farms for volunteering to join volunteers for the event.

Duke Energy Foundation is also thanked for providing ROC with grant funding for 2022' s river work. Volunteers said River Stewards will be hard at work for the remainder of the paddle season, keeping the Broad River clean and safe for all to enjoy.
