Robert "Herman" Harper, 84, of Forest City, passed away December 12, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcyle Taylor Harper; his parents, Franklin Alexander Harper and Lela Mae Patterson Harper; and a sister, Shirley Arrowood.
Herman worked for many years at Spindale Mills. He was also a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Spindale.
He is survived by his sons, Regan Harper (Lee Ann), Ivan Harper (Fang), and Marcus Harper (Emily); a brother, Colin Harper; and a sister, Marie Gilbert, three grandchildren Stephanie Blanton, Taylor Harper, and Chelsea Harper as well as three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held December 16 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Forest City.
